One morning during an early June 2016 visit to Providence, Rhode Island, I drove to Pawtucket with my son to visit Wildflour Vegan Bakery. I enjoyed the bright and pretty space of the bakery and stocked up on all sorts of goodies to bring back to the hotel room . The baked goods were delicious and it’s always lovely to visit a busy vegan bakery with a diversity of goods. Surprising to me though was that cows milk was an option at a vegan bakery. There are a diversity of plant based milks on offer as well of course. If I returned I would be interested in trying more of their savory options as I enjoyed the ‘Savory Vegan Tuna Roll’.
I wrote an article based on my vegan food experiences on this trip that was published in the Providence Journal in early July 2016.
